Thank you Traci, Edna and Angelique! What a great start to our series of after school programs. The children had a great time creating Mardi Gras Masks, playing games, and eating the Kings Cake.
Next Tuesday is Town Meeting day, we will not have a program, but the library will be open for it's regular Tuesday hours of 3 to 5pm. Please come to Town Meeting and support your library and your town. The Pittsfield Women's Alliance provides babysitting at the library during Town Meeting. Look for library volunteers who will be there to take reservations for our library dinner April 1st and help you sign up for our new library cards.
Join us March 10th for the Japanese Art of Origami with Jennifer Birch. Read more on our programs page.

It's that time again! We're planning this year's library fundraising dinner. For those of you who don't remember, we sold out last year, so make your reservation as soon as you get the chance.
Pittsfield's Roger Clark Memorial Library Fundraiser Dinner and Silent Auction will be held at the Clear River Tavern in Pittsfield on April 1st 2009, (no fooling!) at 6:00 pm. Proprietor (and new owner) Jason Evan's will be preparing a tasty array of appetizers along with a buffet menu featuring Liberty Hill Chicken and Grilled Flank Steak. Library trustees and volunteers will be baking to provide a sumptuous dessert spread. The cost is $18.00 for adults and $8.00 for children aged 12 and under. A Cash Bar will also be available.
Advanced reservations for the dinner are required and can be made at Pittsfield's Town Meeting on March 3rd, so bring your checkbook.
Starting March 9th reservations can also be made here on the web site after Town Meeting. This 100% volunteer run library has been doing lots of great things.
LOOK FOR THE RESERVATION FORM HERE AFTER TOWN MEETING.
