Volunteer Run Since 1901!

The Roger Clark Memorial Library is located on the village green in Pittsfield, Vermont. We share the town's former school house with the Town Clerk's Office.

Since 1901 the Pittsfield Library has been managed and staffed completely by volunteers, we encourage you to become a part of our vibrant little library.

To learn more about our past activities, visit our original blog which ran from December 2006 through December 2008.

BOOKS
We offer patrons an intriguing mix of fiction, non-fiction, Vermont themed, and children's magazines and books. Over the past two years we have completely overhauled our collection and added hundreds of new titles.

DONATIONS
Donations of gently used books are always welcome. Books that are not added to the collection will be sold at our annual Book Sale, held every September during the Pittsfield Bazaar.

INTERNET AND DIGITAL BOOKS
High-speed internet access is available at one workstation, and book downloads are available from Listen-Up Vermont with a patron number supplied by the library.

PROGRAMS
Programs are offered year-round for children and adults.  In the past we've had a Book Club for adult readers, and hosted events covering a diverse range of topics from Olympic training to retirement to World War II. New program ideas are always welcome for kids and adults.
